Stop use and get advice if you develop persistent diarrhoea, severe cramps, rash, swelling or breathing difficulty. Do not use if you have bowel obstruction, acute abdominal conditions such as appendicitis, severe dehydration, or unexplained abdominal pain with nausea or vomiting. Avoid prolonged daily use because stimulant laxatives may cause dependence or electrolyte imbalance. The product contains alcohol, up to about 480 mg per dose, which is relevant for people with alcoholism, liver disease, epilepsy, and during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Parabens may cause allergic reactions.
