If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or return quickly after stopping, speak to a pharmacist or doctor. Using too much or for longer than directed can thin the skin and, rarely, lead to systemic steroid effects, especially on large areas or under occlusion. Avoid contact with the eyes; seek advice if you notice blurred vision or other visual changes. Do not use for acne, rosacea, untreated infections, around leg ulcers, or if you are allergic to any ingredient. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. The risk of steroid side effects increases with duration, large treatment areas and thin or inflamed skin.
