Do not use if you have heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, previous stroke or TIA, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or severe liver disease. Do not take within 24 hours of ergot medicines or another triptan, and do not use with MAOIs or within 2 weeks of stopping them. Use with SSRIs or SNRIs can, rarely, lead to serotonin syndrome; seek advice if you take antidepressants. Not for under 18s or over 65s. Ask for advice in pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have significant cardiovascular risk factors.
