Do not take within 24 hours of ergot medicines or another triptan, and do not use with MAOIs or within two weeks of stopping them. Use with SSRIs or SNRIs can, rarely, lead to serotonin syndrome. Avoid use if you have risk factors for heart disease without medical advice. Breastfeeding mothers should avoid feeding for 12 hours after a dose.
