Can I get free contraception if I don't live in England?

Yes, free contraception is available across the entire UK:

England: All contraception free on NHS
Scotland: All contraception free on NHS
Wales: All contraception free on NHS
Northern Ireland: All contraception free on NHS

Our online service can provide contraception to women across the UK. Delivery is available to all UK addresses. All consultations are free regardless of where you live.

Do I need a blood pressure check for the contraceptive pill?

For Combined Pill: Yes, you need a blood pressure check before starting the combined pill and every 6 months while taking it. High blood pressure increases the risk of blood clots when taking oestrogen-containing pills.

For Mini Pill (POP): No, you don't need a blood pressure check for the progestogen-only pill (mini pill). These pills don't contain oestrogen and don't increase blood clot risk.

Our Service:
We provide free blood pressure checks during your consultation. This takes just a couple of minutes. If your blood pressure is high, we'll discuss alternatives like the mini pill or refer you to your GP for management.

Regular blood pressure monitoring is an important safety measure for combined pill users.
