Frequently asked questions

Do you provide treatments for travel and motion sickness?

Yes. We offer treatments specifically designed to prevent and treat motion sickness. For the best results, travel sickness medication should ideally be taken before your journey begins. If you travel frequently and find over-the-counter options ineffective, our prescribers can recommend stronger alternatives.

Can I take nausea relief for migraine-induced sickness?

Absolutely. Nausea and vomiting are very common symptoms of severe migraines. Anti-sickness tablets like Prochlorperazine can be highly effective when taken at the first sign of a migraine, and they can generally be taken alongside your usual migraine painkillers. Our clinical team will check your current medications during your consultation to ensure there are no unsafe interactions.

Are anti-sickness tablets safe for morning sickness during pregnancy?

While some anti-sickness medications are prescribed for severe morning sickness (hyperemesis gravidarum), we strongly advise that you consult your GP or midwife face-to-face if you are pregnant. We do not recommend ordering online without a direct consultation with your primary healthcare provider to ensure the absolute safety of you and your baby.

How quickly do anti-sickness tablets work?

Most oral anti-sickness tablets begin to work within 30 to 60 minutes of taking them. If you are struggling to keep tablets down due to severe vomiting, speak to your GP, as alternative formats like buccal tablets (which dissolve against the gum) or injections may be required.
