How to use
- Wet the Arm & Hammer Toothbrush with water.
- Apply a pea-sized amount of Arm & Hammer Sensitive Care toothpaste onto the brush.
- Brush your teeth in small circular motions.
- Focus on one section of your mouth at a time: outer surfaces, inner surfaces, and then chewing surfaces.
- Brush all surfaces of your teeth, reaching back to your molars and also ensure to brush along your gum line.
- Brush your tongue from back to front to remove bacteria and freshen your breath.
- After brushing for about two minutes, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water.
- Rinse your toothbrush head as well under running water.
- Gently pat your toothbrush on a hand towel to take out any excess water.
- Place your toothbrush in an upright position and allow it to air-dry until the next use.
- Brush at least twice a day, in the morning and before bed, for optimal oral health.
Main Ingredients
Arm & Hammer Sensitive Care is a fluoride toothpaste with potassium nitrate for sensitivity relief. Active ingredients: potassium nitrate 5%% (for sensitivity) and sodium fluoride 0.24%% (1100 ppm F, anti-cavity). Full ingredients:
- Potassium nitrate 5% (active — reduces sensitivity)
- Sodium fluoride 0.24% / 1100 ppm F (active — anti-cavity)
- Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda — neutralises acids, gentle abrasive)
- Water (aqua)
- Sorbitol (humectant)
- Glycerin (humectant)
- Tetrasodium pyrophosphate (tartar control)
- Hydrated silica (mild abrasive)
- Flavor (aroma)
- Sodium saccharin (sweetener)
- Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate (mild surfactant)
- Sodium lauryl sulfate (foaming agent)
- Cellulose gum, xanthan gum (thickeners)
- Titanium dioxide (CI 77891, colourant)
Contains 1100 ppm fluoride. Recommended for adults and children over 12. A reduction in sensitivity should be noticed within two weeks of regular twice-daily brushing. Do not swallow.
Side Effects & Cautions
- Maintaining good dental hygiene and using toothpaste appropriately is necessary. Never ingest toothpaste and only use the recommended amount.
- For children below the age of 6, use the minimal amount, avoid swallowing toothpaste, and make sure an adult is supervising while brushing their teeth.
