How to use
- Clean the wound and gently remove any dirt or objects.
- Dry the skin around the wound thoroughly.
- Carefully unfold the plaster and remove its blue paper backing without touching the adhesive side.
- Center the dressing onto your wound but be careful not to stick the plaster over the wound. The cushioned pad should be on the wound.
- Press the adhesive side onto your skin and smooth down the edges to ensure full contact with the skin.
- Change the plaster regularly, at least once a day or more often, if it becomes wet.
- Seek medical help if the wound worsens or doesn't start to heal after a few days.
- Remember to not re-use the plaster for hygiene purposes.
Main Ingredients
Elastoplast Aqua Protect is a sterile waterproof wound plaster. It is a medical device and does not contain formulated ingredients. The plaster is composed of the following physical components:
- Waterproof polyurethane film (outer protective layer)
- Hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive
- Absorbent non-adherent cushion pad (central wound contact area)
- Paper release backing (removed before application)
For external use only. Do not use on infected, deep or severely bleeding wounds. Discontinue and consult a healthcare professional if skin irritation occurs. Not to be re-used.
