About this product
Emulsiderm Moisturising Lotion is an antimicrobial emollient for dry, itchy skin, including eczema. It contains liquid paraffin 25 percent and isopropyl myristate 25 percent to soften and protect, plus benzalkonium chloride 0.5 percent to reduce skin bacteria. Use in the bath or apply to dry areas. Results build with regular use.
How to use
- Use in adults and children. For the bath, add the product to warm water, soak, then pat the skin dry to leave a protective film. For direct application, rub a small amount of undiluted emollient into dry skin until absorbed. Keep the product away from the eyes. Take care, bath surfaces can become slippery. If symptoms do not improve, ask a pharmacist or doctor.
Main Ingredients
Side Effects & Cautions
Side Effects:
- Local skin reactions such as redness, irritation or itching can occur. Stop use and seek advice if this happens. Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient. When breastfeeding, if use on the nipples is needed, apply sparingly after feeds and gently wipe away any residue before the next feed. Keep away from naked flames and do not smoke during use. Fabrics such as clothing and bedding that contact paraffin-based emollients ignite more easily, and washing may not remove the build-up completely. Take care to avoid slips in the bath.
