Zirtek Allergy Tablets relieve hay fever and allergy symptoms, sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy, watery eyes and hives. Each tablet provides 10 mg cetirizine, a once-daily antihistamine that is non drowsy in most people. Suitable for adults and children from 6 years.

How to use
Adults and children 12 years and over take one tablet once daily with water. Children 6 to 11 years take half a tablet twice daily. Do not exceed one tablet, 10 mg, in 24 hours. People with moderate kidney problems usually take 5 mg once daily. If symptoms do not improve, speak to a pharmacist or doctor. Do not give to children under 6 years.

Main ingredients
Each film-coated tablet contains cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg. Excipients include lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, and a film coat with hypromellose, titanium dioxide and macrogol. One tablet contains about 66 mg lactose.

Side effects and cautions
Headache, dry mouth, tiredness, dizziness and drowsiness can occur. Avoid alcohol. Do not drive until you know how the tablets affect you. Do not use if you are allergic to cetirizine or any ingredient. Talk to a clinician before use if you have kidney problems, epilepsy, difficulty passing urine, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Seek urgent advice if you develop swelling, wheeze, a severe rash, or prolonged confusion.
